Saito - Ginrin Karashigoi

It’s an absolutely outstanding mature example, one of the Saito Ginrin Karashigoi. I’ve raised this fish from Nisai, and it’s just gone from strength to strength. There’s still more to come from it as well. I think an eventual max size of around 80cm is possible from this Saito set.

What you’ve already got is the colour, the Ginrin still holding up, and the Fukurin really starting to form, and it will do even more so over the next 4 or 5cm of growth to come.

The body form is really quite remarkable. She’s carrying an immense amount of volume, but carries it incredibly well, structurally set so good. This is a fish that will have an impact in absolutely any collection. A show-worthy example as well, it just ticks box after box after box.
